A Congregation of Customers
In a recent book review by the Wall St. Journal, they took a look at A Congregation of Customers. After reading this review I think it really made me sick, and yet I had to read it again and then send it on to my friends. Growing up in this culture and the Church this seriously was the most poignant look at a culture, the culture I grew up in, with such accuracy and sharpness and without a hint of exaggeration. Even-though I may disagree with some of the author’s (James B. Twitchell) other books and viewpoints, I thank him for revealing, with such accuracy, the excess and show of a Church culture we have created around us. It reminds me again how far we have come from the Church of Acts.
I highly recomend reading this review. Click Here.
